Pc v Mac

I am enjoying a series of commercials on TV where a guy in a jacket represents windowsPC and another in a hip shirt represents Mac. It's a very simple context but it works. It's what advertising is all about.

The mac guy is a bit of all right, doesn't hurt to be the spunk on the block.


Another scene on TV last week was the episode of The West Wing where Big Bird sits on a bench next to CJ who is reading. After some looking around by CJ she gets up and walks out of shot past Big Bird. The only scene of the entire show where nothing was spoken. I love it.

Time for bed, sleep, perchance to dream.

I hated seeing The West Wing come to a close. It was one of tha all time best TV shows. And you are right about the Mac commercials. Clever in their simplicity.

The PC guy, John Hodgman (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Hodgman), is an author and humorist who is a semi-regular on The Daily Show.

And yes, Mac boy Justin Long (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Justin_Long) is indeed very cute. I wanna reformat his hard drive. Or somethin'...

Justin Long, Justin, Just, I knew I had seen him somewhere before. I like his accent.

We seem to have similar tastes in men and their wardrobe. Neither of us minds a drink. Next time I'm in Dupont Circle I''ll have to let you know.

Meanwhile I'll just keep watching all the different ommercials trying NOT to think of you playing with his...jumper switches.

There's a series of commercials for Geico car insurance here in the States which I am crazy about. The "star" of the ads is an adorable, sassy Australian green gecko with an attitude.
Don't know if they're shown in Oz, but I hope they are.
