Jazz Me Up
Apr. 11th, 2006 06:00 pmI've been feeling rather cool lately. Pure cool. I've loaded the car CD player with what I think is the five coolest jazz albums ever. The last few days have been warm and sultry so I have been driving to work the very long way with the sunroof open and my McIntosh cranking all 300 watts.
Chronologically:

Miles Davis - Kind Of Blue (1959)

John Coltrane - A LOve Supreme (1964)

Herbie Hancock - Empyrean Isles - (1964)

Keith Jarrett - Belonging (1974)

Wynton Marsalis - Black Codes (From The Underground) (1985)
Yes the epitome of cool. Someone pass me another martini, dry...very dry.
